Prior to joining the firm, he worked with Deloitte Haskins & Sells, other leading audit and consulting firms. He has considerable industrial exposure on audits, consulting projects for different clientele apart from heading Finance & Accounts function for 2nd largest steel maker of Karnataka, BMM Ispat Limited. In his past assignments worked with companies like ITC, Orissa Iron & Steel, NCC etc. Currently he advises companies like Bharat Biotech, Monsanto, IKP Knowledge Park. His Specializations are Valuations, NPOs, Internal Audit, Risk Management framework, Business process Re-engineering, Financial reporting, Internal controls and Costing System.

Before promoting the firm, Kumar worked with global audit firm Deloitte Haskins & Sells. He is also a systems audit specialist and advisor on various legal matters including drafting deeds, agreements. He is former member of bar council.
